Islamic Charitable Society

I visited an orphanage and a school and a bakery all run by the Islamic Charitable Society(ICS). In the Spring of this year, the Israeli Military invaded their facilities and took all of their equipment- refrigerators, school books, everything- and welded the doors to a new school scheduled to open this Spring. The ICS is fighting the invasions in the Israeli courts fighting accusations of their connections to Hamas to which there is not one bit of evidence and even the accusation would not in any way warrant the invasions and raiding. But regardless - the invasion already happened- And I think of so many people I know who work in social services- and can't imagine how you go one. But they do.
